Life in the City (Alva/Liam)

Liam's first semester at Yale was a success. He met lots of new people and though he enjoyed New Haven he couldn't wait to get back to LA to his family, friends and of course his girlfriend. For his hard work at school Liam's father rewarded him with a nice check. That was unfortunately their way of communicating in that family, but he wasn't bitter he knew exactly what he wanted to spend the money on.

Liam drove up to Alva's house. He parked his car in the driveway and approached the door. He knocked and waited on an answer.

After flying home that weekend from Florida, all Alva wanted to do was sleep. But hearing that Liam was on his way home too and on his way over she had to doll up. When she heard the door, Alva squealed excitedly and ran down the steps, throwing the door open and jumping on Liam in a koala hug.

"Man, I miss these" he chuckled

Alva grinned, burying her head into the crook of his neck. "I missed you."

"You have no idea baby"

She lifted her head and smiled, "Oh...and hi."
