Passing. (Liam)

Alva was passing through the hallways after third period, on her way to lunch. She had her Greek Myth book in one hand with her iPhone in her other, texting Katie. As she turned a corner, she ended up running in a chest, causing her phone to fall out of her hands. "No!" She exclaimed, as she dropped to the floor to get her phone, dropping her books in the process, causing her to groan. She looked up and glared at the person in front of her. It was a boy, a good looking one at that.

"Watch where you're going next time, K?" She shot at him, rolling her eyes at him.

"Oh.. Yeah.. Sorry!" he said helping her pick up her things "You okay?"

Alva stood back up, muttering a small thank you as he handed her books back. "I'm fine, and you?"

"Yeah, but I'm much bigger than you so if I wasn't okay I'd be embarrassed to admit it"

Alva gave a small smile, "Yeah, that would be good on your part."

"Were you in a rush or something, you were moving pretty fast there"

"Nah, lunch isn't really a rush since they're always long lines." She shrugged, "Just wasn't watching where I was going."

"You're Alva right?" he said finally letting her name come to him

"Yeah..?" She said suspiciously, eyeing him. "And you are?"

"Liam.. Payne"

"I've heard of you, it's nice to meet you." She said with a small smile.

"You too" he smiled "And good things I hope"

"You're like our top person in our class, all I ever hear is good about you." She said.

"Great" he smiled

"Yeah, so where are you going?" She asked curiously.

"I was actually going to the library. I have a paper due by 3 and I'm not even half way done yet"

"Ooh..." Alva winced and shook her head. "Which teacher?"

"Mrs. White... Health"

"Ew...that bitch hates me." Alva rolled her eyes.

Liam chuckled "What makes you think that?"

"She says I have an attitude problem." She shook her head and rolled her eyes again, "The whore."

Liam chuckled a bit more

"That's why I never see you in class anymore"

"You were in my class?" She asked.

"Fifth period?" he asked to be sure

"Yeah! Oh my god, how many times have I skipped that class?" She chuckled.
