Out For A Night

Drew sat in the driver’s seat while KiKi sat in his passenger’s seat. Drew had been feeling generous lately so he thought he would take KiKi out on the town for a date night, with just the two of them. He wanted to spend some quality time with her, as well as discuss a few things about their future as well. Kiki sat in the passenger seat wearing this.. She had been feeling kind of better lately, not completely though. Kiki was always up for going out, even if she wasn't feeling too hot. She needed to get out of the house and try to work on her relationship with Drew.

She nodded, "Yeah, this is fine."

Drew got out of the car and went over to the passenger's seat to let Kiki out

Kiki thanked him before stepping out of the car.

They walked into the restaurant, and were immediately seated.

"Know what you want?"

She shook her head, "No, not really."

"I'm thinking about just getting ribs" he spoke looking at the menu

"Maybe just a salad." She shrugged, "I'm not really hungry."

"Shocker"

"I've been eating all day, it only makes sense." She said

"If you say so"

"Well, you're in a great mood." She said sarcastically

"Actually I was, but you're always the one that want to ruin that!" he said putting the menu down

"Would you just relax? I don't want to start a fight here, but you're acting strange lately. You're acting way nicer than you usually do, not that I'm complaining. I just want to know what's up." She said

"I'm always like this, you're just always focusing on the bad not the good"

She shrugged, "I guess I just wasn't around you enough to notice."

"Uh huh" he shrugged

She shrugged, "Whatever."

"So what have you been up to?"

"Catching up on a ton of schoolwork, and failing quite miserably at it too, might I add." She said

"It was your decision to miss midterms"

"I was at home puking, thank you very much." She said

"I know I can never imagine what you are going through, but you have to learn to suck the little stuff up and look at the bigger picture"

"And the bigger picture would be..?" She asked

"You have a kid on the way, and you have to learn to get shit done whether you want to or not"
