Settling In (Chelsea)

It was official. Brianna's mom was officially engaged to Chelsea's uncle. The family was in the process of moving into Nick's house that day, and none of them knew how the day would turn out. Especially with Brianna and Chelsea. The two girls were the same age, went to the same school since preschool yet the two lived on two totally different planets.

Chelsea was the rebel, hardcore one with all the attitude in the world, and Brianna was the preppy cheerleader, student body president, and your typical friendly blond. It would be interesting to see how the two felt about living with one another from now on...

Brianna grunted as she struggled lifting a heavy box out of the moving van

"You know! You could help Chelsea... Instead of just standing there watching me struggle" Brianna said

Chelsea, to say the least, wasn't too happy about this. She could get a ling with Brianna at times but still, two completely different personalities. Chelsea rolled her eyes as she stood texting friends.

"Yeah, I could, but I'm busy right now." She said not looking up from her phone

"To me it looks like you're just standing there"

"Well, I am, but I'm texting at the same time, therefore, I'm busy."

(Lol I think I want to make Nick, Chelsea's dad now, lol I'm so indecisive!)

"Is this really how it's going to be between us" Brianna said giving up on the box and walking out of the truck

(Haha... I know the feeling... Whatever you do is fine with me)

"Well, for now, because I'm lazy and I find it entertaining to watch other's struggle."

"You know what?" Brianna said folding her arms "You're not very nice!" she replied in her preppy tone

"So? I never said I was going to be nice. Life's like that, hunny, and you're going to meet many people you don't like throughout it."

"You don't have a valid reason to dislike me!"

"You're right, I don't, but we're polar opposites so I don't think we'll be getting along very well."

"We don't have to be best friend's but we must be civil"

"Yeah...I'm only cooperating for my dad's sake, no one else's."

"I'm sure you make him proud..." Brianna sarcastically said

"Actually, I do." She rolled her eyes.

"Oh yeah, you haven't been arrested yet so I bet he is thrilled about that"

"I'm also not pregnant yet, either." She said with false enthusiasm.

"High School isn't over yet, don't speak too soon"

"Please, I don't just hook up with any old guy." She rolled her eyes

"That's not what I heard!"

"And who would you have heard this 'information' from?"

"Um let's see... The entire school"

"Don't believe everything you hear, 'Sister dearest'." She smiled fakely

"I don't believe everything I hear! I don't believe half the things that comes out of your mouth"

"Well, that's your issue, not mine."

"That shows how much you care about your reputation"
