Home (Ava)

Aaron had had a long day at the museum. As curator and director of he museum in which he worked at he had a lot on his plate. Mostly reading documents and researching about artifacts. He also called other historical places to arrange new exhibits and collections. It was no doubt a stressful job and he always enjoyed returning home. Aaron walked in the front door of his house placing some of his work on a nearby table and hanging his keys by the door.

"I'm home." He called to ensure that someone was home

Ava had gotten home about an hour before she heard Aaron walk in. She was in the kitchen cooking dinner. In typical Ava fashion she also had her laptop sitting on the counter doing some research for a new article in between tasks.

She smiled when she heard Aaron from the front door. "In here babe" she called out to him

Aaron ventured into the kitchen and smiled when he saw Ava.

"Hey babe." he greeted her with a kiss

"Hey my love" she said kissing him back "How was work?"

He sighed and chuckled a bit, "Just a little stressful."

"How was your day?"

"Same" she shrugged "But luckily for you I am making your favorite dish" she smiled

"You really are a lifesaver." He smiled, "I love you."

"I would hope I'm not living with a boy who just liked me" she joked

"I would hope you're not living with a boy who likes you. I'm a man that loves you." He teased

"Cute" she chuckled flashing those dimples of hers. "Help me set the table?" she asked

"I know you are." he laughed, "Alright."

He went to the cabinet and pulled out two plates.

"So I take it you were extremely busy today, I didn't get any of your cute yet freaky text messages today at work" she giggled

"I barely had time to breathe." He chuckled, "The phone was ringing off the hook. My office looks like a bomb went off in it. It was insane."

"Did you have one of those 'why did I want to do this as a career' moment for the first time ever?"

"Yes, yes I did." He nodded, "I was ready to lie down on the floor and cry." He joked

Ava chuckled

"Well how about after dinner I treat you to a massage?"

"I would love that." he grinned as he took utensils out of the drawer and put them on the table

"See how I spoil you?" she chuckled

"You do. You're really way too good to me, you know?"

"Oh stop you're making me blush" she smiled

"No, it's cute when you blush." He smiled

"It's crazy we've been together this long and you still give me butterflies and make me blush"

"It must be a good sign because you still take my breath away."

"Smooth Mr. Enjolras, real smooth"

"But it's the truth, Ms. Taylor." He smiled
