Ride Home (Anyone)

Brianna was walking home from school. Due to giving her mom Kadence an attitude earlier in the week she got her car taken, so she was on feet for the next month and she knew asking Chelsea for a ride home was out of the question. Brianna walked with her books in hand and her bag held close, a little further up the street she could hear a car coming from behind her. She thought it would pass but she heard the engine slowing down. Brianna rolled her eyes thinking it was some creep trying to talk to her, but she realized she was wrong, when she finally looked at the car and saw the person…

“Oh it’s you” she said “You live next door to us right?”

Tobias was driving home when he saw someone he recognized. He hadn't been there long, but he remembered the girl from next door, he slowed down and figured he'd give her a ride home, since they did live next to each other and it was quite a walk from there.

"Yeah." He replied, "Want a ride? I'm heading home anyways."

"Sure you don't mind?"

"Nah, you live next door. It's not that far out of my way."

"Okay, thanks!" Brianna said walking over to the passenger seat and getting in

He nodded and started driving, "Tobias." He introduced, "But most people just call me Toby."

"Brianna, most call me Bri" she smiled "Thanks for this"

"No problem." he said, "How long have you lived here for?"

"All of my life, but I've on live in the neighborhood for almost a year"

"I see." He nodded, "I've been here for like, a week."

"Right, you're from England right?"

"Yep." He nodded, "As if it wasn't obvious."

"I've been there before"

"Oh cool." He nodded, "Which part?"

"London"

"Cool, I was born in London." He smiled a bit

"How lucky" she replied "Why did you all move here! I'd much rather live there"

"My dad mainly works here and so does my mom." He said, "It's easier than flying back an forth between the US and the UK."

"But you look old enough, you couldn't stay there alone?"

"I'm only 16. But I think my parents felt better knowing that I finally moved in."

"Aww you're so young" she teased

"I'm an actor, have to look good on camera." He chuckled

"Actor? Stage or screen?"

"Mostly Screen. Surprised you haven't recognized me by now."

"Actually I have. I know you're Malfoy from Harry Potter. I was just trying to play it cool, I know groupies can get annoying" she chuckled
