Just Us (Drew)

Kiki had somehow talked Drew into taking a walk with her. He usually wasn't up for anything like that, but she did it. So far, it had been quiet and somewhat awkward. They had been looking for places to live while Drew tried to open up his second shop. Drew seemed a bit happy about it but Kiki was still uneasy about moving away.

"So..I've been thinking.." She finally spoke.

"Oooookay?? About?" he asked

"Moving." She said

"Yeah, I am so ready to get away from this place" he said "Aren't you?"

"Eh.." She said, "I'm a bit unsure about it..."

Drew stopped in his tracks and stared "What?"

"I just, I don't know. Everyone's here. We can hardly take care of ourselves, let alone two newborns."

"Uh excuse me, I've been the man of my house since my dad left us, so I know how to take care of myself" Drew argued "And since when do you care about being around everyone else? You purposely shut everyone out"

"Uh, excuse you is right. I didn't shut anyone out, if I had, I wouldn't be here with you right now."

"KiKi we co-habitat we rarely speak" Drew replied "And you shut out everyone! Your brother, your parents, the friends you use to have, what the fuck are you leaving behind?" he said "Levi?"

"The friends I used to have? I still have friends, Drew. And don't even bring up Levi. And I'm speaking to my brother, he's juat a bit mad at me."

"You know how we can fix this problem?"

"How? How can we fix this problem?"

"We're going. See! Problem solved" he said walking ahead

She rolled her eyes and walked, "Whatever."

"There is no reason for us to stay here."

"So, we're just leaving, that's it?"

"Yes, we can provide a much better life for them if I opened another garage" he replied

"Fine." She sighed

"I'm not forcing you to do anything. The door is wide open for you to walk out of it"

"It's like you want me to leave." She said, "Why do you always bring that up?"

"You find every little thing to complain about"

"I'm 5 months pregnant. Pregnant people complain about everything."

"Excuses, suck it up"

"Ooh, ouch. Tell me something that I've never heard from you before." She said sarcastically
