So Distant (Austin)

"Yes, yes you would have." He chuckled

"I'm so pissed I missed this opportunity" she said looking down

"Maybe you'll get an even better part next year." Austin shrugged

"I just have to get my head on straight"

"I'm sure you will. I'll be supportive of you." Austin reassured her

"Thanks" she smiled "It's refreshing to actually hear you say that"

"you're welcome. It's only the truth."

"I can't watch this anymore. Want to go take a walk around the track or something? I won't keep you long my dad should be here to get me in half an hour"

"Yeah, sure, let's go."

Sasha stood and grabbed all of her belongings before the couple snuck out of the auditorium. The reached the field where they say multiple school teams practicing before walking onto the tracks.

"So, how's life in general?" Austin asked as they walked

"Honestly, it sucks. I feel so distant from everyone my friends, my family... you"

"I wish I could make things better. What can I do?"

"I have to figure out my problem first" she chuckled "I don't know why I am being like this"

"Take your time with it. Figure it out and I'll help you recover. Sometimes we just need to distance ourselves from everybody."

"I hate losing people"

"It's always hard but it's something we're always going to have to deal with."

Sasha nodded "This world can be so cruel"

"That's life, though." He shrugged

"How are you overall?" she asked in return

"I'm doing alright. Trying my hardest to focus on school and pull my grades together before the year is over."

"Why the sudden focus on school?"

"I don't want to go to summer school, I'd rather spend more time with you. And if I do poorly, my parents will kill me."

"That's a great reason to get it together"

He nodded, "I need to take some responsibility."
