He sighed, "Well...It's not my decision. Whatever you decide I'll be supportive."

"Then I'm going"

"Good, good for you." He nodded

Hanna Beth sighed and rolled her eyes before taking another sip of her drink

"What?" He asked, referring to her reaction

"Oh nothing" she lied looking out the window

"At least look me in the eyes if you're going to lie to me." Avan said

Hanna Beth looked at him "You don't even seem to care that your girlfriend is going to another country"

"I am a bit upset about it, Hanna. But if I told you that I didn't want you to go, it would be selfish. I can't make up your mind for you, and if you want to go to Paris there is nothing stopping you."

"You can at least show it, instead of brushing it off like it's no big deal. This is a very big deal"

"Face it, if I did that, you wouldn't want to go."

"I'm not going anyway, but it would have showed you cared."

"Wait, why aren't you going?"

"Hello, it's in Paris and my life is here!"

"It's a once in a lifetime opportunity."

"I know, but I have a full ride to USC so it's not like I'm going to sit at home and do nothing!"

"True." He said, "It's up to you, though."

"Uh huh! You keep pushing me away I might just go" she said a bit slick

"I'm just telling you, to do what you want and what makes you happy. How is that pushing you away?"

"You just blow everything off like this relationship means nothing to you! This, the thing with your mom in the past, it's like you don't care what happens with us" she sincerely said

"I lay low, I don't like drama."

"It's not drama, it's called giving a shit"
