Good News or Bad?

Hanna Beth received some exciting news in the mail that morning and she couldn’t wait to share it with Avan. In on top of that she just missed hanging out with him. Senior year had been so busy for her that her social life was flopping. She asked Avan to meet her at a coffee shop near school so they could enjoy a beverage and talk a little before class.

She walked in wearing this as she spotted him at a table in the corner “Her gorgeous!” she teased when finally approaching him

"Hey beautiful." He smiled as he kissed her

"Miss me?" she smiled sitting across from him

"Of course I did." He smiled, "What's up?"

"A lot, just a bunch of college stuff and prom preparations" she smiled "Speaking of which... Want to be my prom date?"

"Of course, I'd love to." He smiled

"Sorry I asked so late, just been busy getting done with senior year and all"

"It's fine, it's not like I'd go with anyone else if you didn't ask." He chuckled

Hanna smiled "Because then a fight a breakout out the senior prom this year"

"Yes, and I wouldn't want to go with anyone but you." He smiled

"Aww thanks babe" she smiled

"No problem."

"So, I actually of have more news" she smiled "But, I can't tell you without a latte in my system first" she chuckled

"Okay." He chuckled, "I'll buy you one. Anything special?"

"Tall, hot, chai tea latte with two percent milk. Please"

He took a minute to process it in his thought and nodded, "Okay." He said before ordering Hanah's drink and an iced carmel coffee for himself before paying and coming back to the table with the drinks.

"Thanks babe" she said taking her drink

"You're welcome." He said before sitting down and taking a sip of his drink.

Hanna Beth took a quick sit, before staring at Avan "So are you ready to hear my news?" she asked

He nodded, "Yep."

Hanna Beth sighed and smiled

"I got offered a paid internship with Dior, right after high school" she said

"Really? That's awesome! Congrats, babe." He smiled, "You are going to take the offer, right?"

"There's a catch" she said before taking another sip

"Oh? I'm assming not so good."

"Babe... It's in Paris"
