Coexist (Drew)

A lot had been happening lately, Kiki was on route to finishing her last year in high school and couldn't wait for it to end. Work wasn't bad, it wasn't too hard on her and being her position, she could do homework while at work. She hadn't even been fighting with Drew a lot lately, mainly because she was always too tired when she got home from work to even talk to anybody. The fighting had ceased for the time being, but she still wasn't happy, she wanted her and Drew to be at least a bit closer. They didn't even seem like they were friends. Kiki sat on the couch and heard Drew walk in the door, he had been out running errands.

"Hey." She greeted

(I know, it's not exactly "creative" lol.)

"Honey I'm home" he joked

"Ha ha, you're funny." She chuckled a bit.

"How was your day?" He said plopping down on the couch next to her

"It wasn't exactly bad." She said, "And yours?"

"Busy, like every other day"

"At least you're not getting fat." She joked

Drew chuckled a bit "You are naturally tiny, don't worry you'll have your body back soon"

"Somehow, it won't ever be soon enough." She chuckled

"You know what I think the problem is?"

"What do you think the problem is?" She asked

"Because you fear so much of what people think about all this, you are afriad to enjoy your pregnancy... It's suppose to be a beautiful thing. Something to be proud about"

She sighed, "High school is rough, I might enjoy it more when I'm out of school." She said, "I never knew you felt that way about this."

"Benn doing a lot of thinging lately" he shrugged

"I can tell." She nodded, "I'm still freaked out though."

"Don't be.. I got your back! They fuck with you, they fuck with me!"

"Sweet. Thanks." She said

"No problem"

"So, what in store for us, are we going to stay together? And I'm not even bringing up the "M" word." she said

"M word?"

"Married?" She said

Drew's eyes widened "Yeah.. Um... I don't think we're there yet"

"No, that's why I said I wasn't bringing it up. We're together but it feels like we aren't even friends." She said

"I know! It feels like I'm just the father of your soon to be kid"

"And that's how it's going to stay unless we work on getting along better."
