"Well, Louis is going away to college.." She joked

"He's staying in Cali though so don't feel to bad"

"True, but there are other girls in college and that kind of worries me."

"Louis is pretty trustworthy, you have nothing to worry about"

"yeah, I guess so, I mean, it's not like we're exactly dating."

"Plan on making it official before he leaves?"

"I don't know..I don't think I'm ready for a relationship like that yet."

"I understand, my girlfriend is headed off to college to and it'll be interesting to see what happens"

She nodded, "Are you gonna miss her?"

"We are on fucked up terms right now, but of course"

"Ouch, what happened?"

"The heart thing, the baseball thing, the girlfriend always being such a worrier type of thing all mixed into one big argument"

"Sounds like my dad." she said

"Uh.. yeah" The thought of Kirby's dad bought up all the memories about her he wanted to ignore

"All that shit that happened like, last year."

"I wasn't trying to take advantage of you that day Kirby believe me, I'm not that type of guy"

"I know, I was just upset. My parents were bothering me and I guess they kind of brainwashed me into believing that all guys are assholes."

"Well we aren't. Louis should have proven that to you by now"
