500 Days of Taylor

Darius groaned as the sun shining through the window in Taylor’s bedroom. The summer for the couple has been great. Late nights, partying, a little action, he couldn’t ask for a girl that was more like him. He rolled over and wrapped his arm around her waist “Morning!” he said softly in her ear

Taylor let out a small noise, squirming a little at the breath on her ear. Her eyes began to flutter open slowly, scooting back into his embrace more. "Morning.." she whispered back, smiling a little.

"I love waking up to you" he smiled

Taylor turned her body to face him, smiling softly. "I love waking up to you too."

"Sooooo what trouble are we getting into today?"

"I say we crash the beach today."

"That sounds like a plan"

"Great! But for right now.." Taylor leaned up and kissed him lightly before lying her head back on his chest. "I want to cuddle."

"We can do that"

"Good." She closed her eyes and yawned lightly, "I love you.."

"You do?"

Taylor looked up at him with a smile. "Yeah...I do. I don't know if it's too soon or whatever but I do love you."

"Can I be honest?"

"Of course."

"That shit scares me"

Taylor sat up, her hands lying on his chest as she looked down at him. "Why would it scare you?"

"Have you met my family?" he chuckled "We don't have the best track record of sticking together... It's either someone is always leaving us or we are always the ones leaving"

"Well don't you want to change that?" She asked, "Start a new legacy with your family?"

"There are a lot of things I want to do that doesn't mean I'm going to get to do them"

Taylor frowned a little, "I'm trying to be optimistic here."

"I know and I'm being pessimistic"

"Yeah..stop that." She joked smiling a little. "How about we just take this one day at a time?"

"No.. I'm glad you told me. I think it's cool how you go against the tradition of the guy saying it first"

"Well you know me. One to always do shit different." She smiled.
