Quiet Lunch (Anyone)

It was no secret that liked to keep to himself sometimes. Sometimes he just appreciated being by himself. Louis was reading a book as he ate his lunch when he heard someone acknowledge him or at least where he was sitting.

"Sit here if you want." He said in a low tone, not looking up from his book.

(Anyone)

Brianna slammed her tray on the table in front of Louis. "I don't want to sit, I need to talk to you! So stop what you're doing and listen" she ordered her old friend


(I really need something to do with this chick! Hope you don't mind)

"Well jeez, what do you need to talk to me about?" Louis asked

(Of course not! )

"How dare you ask that child to prom and not me?"

"Brianna," He sighed, "She's new here and I wanted to make her feel welcome, she doesn't have too many friends."

"Why is that your problem?" she said finally taking a seat across from him

"Why do you care? She's sweet."

Brianna rolled her eyes "You know why I care."

"You have another year left, stop whining. There's alway next year for prom." He rolled his eyes

(She is a junior, right? Lol)

"But I wanted to go to this one" she whined, jerking up and down like a five year old "And besides that evil Chelsea could possibly have me dead by next prom"

"Well, I'm sorry, but, you can wait until next year. And Chels isn't that bad." Louis said

"Why does everyone keep saying that, she's horrible to me"

"You aren't so nice yourself, so don't go pointing fingers." Louis said

"Oh, please! I am nice" she shrugged in denial "...Until provoked"

"And trust me, you're always provoked by something."

(I'm off to bed! Night!)

"Well, tell people to stop pissing me off"

"That isn't my job. Don't let people piss you off."

"I can't help it. I've just be on edge lately.. with everything"

"Any reason why?"

"Do you actually care to listen, or are you just being nice?" she sincerely asked

"A bit of both, really." He said

"It's either you care or you don't, it can't be both?"

"Well, I'm being nice and I care." Louis said, "I have four little sisters, I'm a good listener."

"Okay" she sighed "Do you think I'm a bad person? You've known me for quite sometime and you stuck by me when no one else would, and I just want to know why?"

"No I don't think you're a bad person." Louis said, "It's just your personality and I can always see the good in everyone."
