Conference (Anyone)

Logan dismissed his class at the end of the day, and did his daily duty of clearing the hallway after school. He got back to his classroom and saw the student he had a conference with. Logan got some papers from his desk and pulled up a chair next to the students.

“Okay! Conference time. The kind of things I hate about teaching” he said with a small chuckle “Mid terms, coming up soon, so I need to tell you now. Did you know you’re failing?” he told the student waiting on a response.

Taylor smiled sweetly at the teacher in front of her, "Yes." She stated with an innocent touch in her speech.

Chad couldn't help but laugh at her innocent tone "So, what do you plan on doing about it?"

"Um...I don't know." She said with her same tone.

"Okay, for starters, have you started on your paper that's due Monday?"

Taylor stared with a confused look. "We have a paper?"

"Yes five page paper due Next Friday! I handed it out about a month ago and reminded you everyday since then. Where have you been?"

"La La Land?" She perked up with a grin.

"Taylor, I don't want to fail yo and I know you don't want to go to summer school. But on this trail that is where you are headed"

"Oh come on Mr. Bledel! I don't understand this stuff, it makes my brain melt. There has to be something else I can do." She pouted.

"Yes! Try! I know you aren't a historian and I doubt you are trying to become one, so all you have to do in my class is improve. And going from a low F to a high F isn't exactly the improvement I am talking about" he chuckled a bit

"Of course it's improvement," She muttered in objection, "Well I need some type of help."

"There's a few tutors on campus, I could recommend a few of them to you"

"Depends on who you are."

Logan went to his desk and fumbled through papers to get out his star students list "Willow Mitch is doing really well in my class. Liam Payne, is another good reference I'm sure he wouldn't mind helping you. Hanna Beth is doing well in this class. Harry Styles. Avan Jogia. Those are my five top students, I'm sure you a know a few if not all"

"Yeah I know all of them," Taylor said. "I'll talk to them and see if they'll help."

"That would be a good start"

"Yeah..thank you Mr. Bledel."

"You have a month, don't end up in summer school Taylor!"

"I won't!"
