Getting Serious (Chelsea)

Milo had just gotten up. He showered and got dressed,, or half dressed as he made his way to the living room in nothing but gym shirts. "Morning babe" he greeted his girlfriend Chelsea who had been staying with him lately with a kiss. "You're up early. Do you have plans this morning?" he asked crashing down on the couch next to her and resting his head on her lap, while stretching out his body on the rest of the couch.

"I know, it's strange because I'm not a morning person." She smiled, returning his kiss, "No, I don't having anything planned at all for today." Chelsea twirled her finger in his hair

"Yeah me either. I'm so happy to have the day off for once" he said referring to his horrible job as a photographer's assistant.

"I'm happy you have a day off, too. I know how much you hate that job."

"Well, I can't do much else with the record I have" he chuckled

Chelsea laughed, "That's your own fault." She teased, "But it's okay, because I love you."

"Hey! just be lucky I finally got my act together" he chuckled

"Just be lucky that I'm still alive after I borrowed all that money from my dad to bail you out. I thought he was going to murder me." She chuckled a bit

"Hey I have an arrangement with your dad. He's getting his cash back in installments" he chuckled

"I honestly don't see why you have to pay him back. It's not like he's hurting for money right now. But I guess it is 'the right thing to do'."

"Yeah I wouldn't feel right if I didn't. You know I'm all about loyalty"

"I completely understand." Chelsea nodded, "And it's the least you could do for stealing his daughter away from him." she teased

Milo chuckled "True. And you are never there anymore, with shacking up with me and all. How does he feel about that anyway?"

"He's not exactly happy about. But he says I'm and adult now so he really can't stop me from living here. Just as long as I stay in school he's content."

"So why don't you finish moving the rest of your stuff in, if he doesn't mind?"

"First of all, because I'm lazy. Secondly, because I might want to go home every now and then and stay for a night. I feel bad that I don't see my dad too often."

"Are you sure you aren't just skeptical of me and our relationship?"

"No baby, it's not like that at all." She shook her head, "I promise."

"Just making sure" he replied

"I know. I understand." She nodded

"So how's school going? I feel like I have no idea what's going on, whenever I come home you're either sleep or still out"

"It's school, so there's not too much good to say about it. But I'm doing pretty decently in my classes, not failing anything yet."

"Well that's good. Do all those late night consist of partying or studying?"

"It's mostly studying, I don't really do much for myself anymore."

"Why not?"
