In Trouble (Anyone)

Louis was having a hard time focusing in his calculus class. It was a dreary day and it had just started drizzling. Everyone seemed miserable and half of the class was falling asleep. Louis, however, was at his desk snoring lightly. The teacher noticed him, sleeping and walked back to the corner of the room, he picked up a calculus book from a nearby desk held it up and dropped it by Louis. Louis shot up from his desk.

"Mr. Tomlinson, so glad to see you've joined us again. Now, can you please answer the problem on the board?" Mrs. Andrews asked

Louis squinted to see the problem on the board, "Carrots?" he replied. The class burst into a laughter as a small smile overcame Louis' face, making it clear he was trying hard not to laugh himself.

"Out, now." The teacher said.

"That's bull-" Louis started

"Detention, my room, immediately after school."

Louis sighed as he grabbed his stuff and walked out of the room, bumping into another student on his way out the door.

"Oops, I'm sorry." He said, grabbing the books they had dropped

(Anyone?)

"Bro, it's cool" Liam chuckled "Let me guess, being kicked out?"

He sighed, "Unfortunately, 'carrots' was not the appropriate answer."

"Is it ever?"

"...Sometimes..."

"So where are you headed?"

"The dean's office, but I'm probably not going right away."

"Let's go hangout then" he shrugged

"Sounds like a great plan." he nodded as he started walking down the hallway

"What class was that anyway?" he asked

"Calculus." He said, "I hate that class."

"Good thing I took it earlier this semester"

"I'm seriously about to shoot myself."

"You only have two months to go" he chuckled "Then you're free"

"I'm afraid I can't pull through, I'm always asleep in that class." He said

"Better now than in the summer"

"True, true." He nodded, "So, why are you out of class?"

"This is actually my free period. I was going to do some tutoring but the student never showed up so I'm just cruising around to my last class"

"You're lucky that you're smart." Louis said

"You are too, you are just a clown" he chuckled

"Well, that's what I do, I make people laugh." he said

"Apparently not your teachers"

"Mrs. Andrews is just a hag, and has no soul, okay. I make some teachers laugh...at my test grades."

Liam burst into laughter

"So I guess college isn't in your future"

"Oh, it is, I'm just a senior who doesn't give a fuck. Like most of us, except for you, Mr. Valedictorian."
