1 The Weekend Alone (Ava) on Sat Jan 11, 2014 2:54 am

Aaron pulled up to the Cabin where he had spent most summers of his childhood. The house was exceptionally small compared to its surroundings. There was a crooked path of stepping stones that led to the front door, an old tree from which a tire swing hung, swaying slightly in the breeze. The pond that the house overlooked was partially frozen. Although barren, and empty, the woods were beautiful. Aaron looked over to his beautiful girlfriend, Ava, who sat in the passenger seat beside him.

"Welcome to Enjolras cabin." He sighed happily at the sight as he put the car in park.

Ava smiled a bit. She'd always heard Aaron talk about the cabin he use to spend a lot of time during his childhood but she'd never experienced it for herself until now.

"It's even more beautiful than you describe, babe." she said getting out of the car

"It's too amazing for words." He took the keys from the ignition and opened the trunk of the car to get his and Ava's stuff.

Ava smiled and took in all nature had to offer. "Did I hit a new level of love and trust with you?" she joked "You love me enough to bring me to the precious 'sacred cabin'" she smiled

Aaron chuckled, "I've been meaning to bring you out here for awhile, I promise, our schedules are pretty hectic. And plus, the timing just felt...right." He shrugged

"That's true." He said starting towards the front door, "Just wish we could stay here a little longer, like, forever." He joked

Aaron took her by the hand and led her into the house, dropping the bags in the living room. "Ah, the sweet smell of nostalgia." he laughed

"Including you, one." He laughed, "I wouldn't bring a girl up here if I didn't think she was special. Let's just say there weren't too many special girls in my life until I met you."

"What can I say? I am a perfectionist." he grinned, "It's more often a curse than a blessing, but it has it's upsides."
